Hello there everyone! I (finally) have my post for the February Julep Maven monthly box, Smitten Kitten! I know that it's already April, but I've just been extremely busy with things, along with procrastination as well which I've been known for in the past.... Now as all of you may know, my original February box was not the Smitten Kitten, instead it was something else entirely, I'm not sure which box it was, but after contacting Julep about the mix-up, they sent out the box that I had actually ordered and let me keep the other box that they sent me by mistake. I thought that that was pretty cool, since It allowed me to get a lot of other things for only one price as they sent the Smitten Kitten box to me at no cost. I've read in some other blogs that people have had an absolutely horrible experience when contacting Julep's customer service, which doesn't make sense to since I've only ever had a wonderful experience with their customer service, they've always been extremely kind and really very helpful when I have some sort of situation on my hands or a question. But who knows, to each their own I guess... But now let us dive into this box and see all the goodies inside! Here's the inner contents: Vivien- Classic With A Twist, Karissa- Boho Glam, Nail Decals- White + Red Mini Hearts, Oxygen Performance Top Coat, and Hartleigh- Classic With A Twist (a free gift from Jane). Now here we go with the all awaited unboxing! Let's start off with the Oxygen Performance Top Coat. Now I already have two others (technically one since I gave one to my sister) but it never hurts to have extras! I've only ever used the top coat once due to the fact that I've never used a top coat or bottom coat before. Here we have Vivien- Classic With A Twist which is a champagne bubbles full coverage multidimensional glitter polish, and Karissa- Boho Glam which is a holly berry creme. Both of these are super pretty, but I'm mostly excited for Vivien due to it being brought back from Julep's vault. I thought that these colors were very enjoyable for Valentine's Day, even though I didn't get the chance to use them. "Application Instructions |
